A teaching-case volume covering the endocrinology of reproduction — menstrual disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility, hyperprolactinaemia — with clinical commentary, investigations and management. Spring 2000 release.

Each case opens with the presenting history and examination findings, then walks the reader through the differential diagnosis, the order of biochemical and imaging investigations indicated, and the management decision tree. Cases address amenorrhoea and oligomenorrhoea, hyperandrogenism and hirsutism, ovulation induction in anovulatory infertility, hyperprolactinaemia and the management of pituitary microadenomas, premature ovarian insufficiency, and the metabolic phenotype of polycystic ovary syndrome. The format is designed for trainees consolidating clinical reasoning rather than for the candidate seeking a systematic textbook.

Shahla Nader is a physician–scientist in reproductive endocrinology; the volume was issued on the Arnold list with a New York co-imprint through Oxford University Press, in line with the firm's reproductive-medicine titles of the period.
