About the journal
The first major English-language journal devoted to ethics in nursing and midwifery. Launched by Edward Arnold in 1994; carried the empirical and philosophical debate on moral distress, informed consent, rationing and cross-cultural care through the Hodder Arnold years and into SAGE publication after the 2006 journals transfer (with continuing links to the International Centre for Nursing Ethics).
