Ramaswami Harindranath

Professor, School of the Arts and Media, UNSW Sydney

Biography

Ramaswami Harindranath studies postcolonial audiences, South Asian media and the political economy of digital platforms. Co-editor of Approaches to Audiences: A Reader (Arnold, 1998), he supplied the volume's international perspective on ethnographic reception and diasporic media consumption. Subsequent books on audience-citizenship, transnational media and digital research methods extend the questions first collated for Arnold's Foundations in Media series.
