Biography
Manoj Ramachandran completed higher surgical training on the North Thames rotation that included the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, then combined a busy trauma practice with educational publishing. Basic Orthopaedic Sciences: The Stanmore Guide (Hodder Arnold) translates the viva-focused basic science once taught in the Stanmore lectureships—materials science, gait analysis, tumour pathophysiology and developmental anatomy—into the format used by UK candidates preparing for the FRCS (Tr & Orth). He has since co-authored further orthopaedic trauma manuals with the Stanmore / Royal London faculty.
